Ionising Airblowers
Ionised air blowers are used to neutralise plastic film or three-dimensional plastic products, i.e. injection moulded automotive parts. The main purpose is to prevent dust attraction to the products. Dust particles can stick to the product surface and cause quality problems to the final product. Also, ionised air blowers are applied to make sure personnel do not receive any unpleasant shocks.
The main advantage of simco-ion ionised air blowers is that the ionised air, drawn for ambient air, is blown towards the electrostatically charged product. Emitters create ionised air and integrated ventilators blow the ionised air towards the product. Because the air covers the complete product, ionisation is effective on the complete surface of the product. The air volume can be adjusted easily on the blowers. Additional air inlet filters can be applied to clean incoming air and ensure optimal ionisation results.
There are different types of simco-ion ionised air blowers available, depending on required range and operational width. Also, special ionised air blowers versions for explosion-hazardous environments are available.
BlowION
The BlowION ionising air blower has been designed for multifunctional applications. It features an ergonomic, robust designed extruded anodized aluminum housing. The integrated fans and the intelligent positioning of an anti-static bar and a high effective neutralising technique to provide long range ionization over a large area.
Sentry
The Aerostat Sentry ionizing air blower neutralises static charges perfectly. The Sentry has been designed for areas where static electricity causes problems, ranging from dust and dirt attraction to uncomfortable electrical shocks to personnel. The Sentry is ideal for light industrial environments and it increases productivity. The Sentry is excellently suited to neutralise static charges on three-dimensional objects, for instance injection moulded products. This ionizing air blower stands out for its compact design. It has an integrated fan which draws in the ambient air and blows the air off along the anti-static bars. The air inlet may be fitted with a special filter. The air volume can be adjusted electrically. The high-voltage power unit for the anti-static bars is also integrated. The anti-static bars are equipped with a (patented) cleaning system. The control knobs at the rear are easily reached and operated.
VolumION
The VolumION is a very robust ionizing air blower with an effective ionising width of 500 mm. The VolumION consists of a motor, two fans and an ionisation unit. Ambient air is drawn on two sides and blown off along three anti-static bars. The air flow that is drawn in is adjustable on both sides. This ionising air blower is also ideal for long range neutralising when paper and film webs are being wound. The air inlets can be fitted with a special filter.
HP-N-EX
The HP-N-Ex ionizing air blower consists of a motor and a fan. The ambient air is drawn on one side and blown off along an anti-static bar. The effective ionizing width is 500 mm. This ionisation blower has been approved for use in certain explosion-hazardous environments. The power unit is integrated in the anti-static bar.
